  13.     I am using Amitcp 4.2 and have a 28.8 modem over a SLIP connection.  At
  14. random times, the computer sits there, not doing anything in the middle of
  15. getting something, usually with AMosaic.  To combat this I use ping with a
  16. setting of -i1.  It makes it a little better.  Is there a better way?
